About Stefan Schlie:

As an institution on the bike scene and one of the very first trailers Stefan earns his living in the summer with trail shows and his own C 14 Bikes brand. He also gets inspired by bike adventures time and again, for example, he scaled the Zugspitze peak by bike together with Philipp in summer 2011. He has preferred to spend winter in the mountains and on the beach at La Palma with Atlantic Cycling since 1997.

Stefan, together with Markus Klausmann, is a pioneer of modern e-mountain biking and the “uphill flow” in particular. This concept was experienced by Bosch boss Claus Fleischer and Stefan together and consistently focused on. Furthermore, Stefan is an ambassador for Bosch and involved in development. www.bikeschlie.de

Description:

Basically this riding technique camp is no different to a totally normal mountain bike riding technique course. Course participants also learn though how they can ride uphill by e-bike correctly. It is particularly the technical uphill riding that is new with e-biking and has not been taught so far in any riding technique course for one very simple reason: with a normal mountain bike you cannot manage steep climbs if you’re not fit.

You will be amazed which climbs you can ride with an e-bike and the right riding technique.

You can find a little idea of what the week will be like in the Uphill flow II by Bosch eBike Systems, which was filmed here in the Eggental/Val d’Ega.

The e-bike tours are challenging uphill and downhill, there is plenty of practice in many difficult passages with Stefan. Naturally we do not leave out one single trail and the refreshment stop at a mountain inn with delicious South Tyrolean food is a must too. Then there’s the panorama of the Dolomites free of charge too :-)

Who is this camp suitable for?

For any e-bikers and mountain bikers who want to improve their riding technique. This course is aimed at experienced mountain bikers for whom S2 single trails are not a problem.
If you’re bringing your own e-bike with you then it should have full suspension.
You should also be very fit, e-bikers also need a strong pair of legs.
You can hire a Ghost or Flyer e-bike from us.

E-biking experience is not necessary.
